Christian Horizons and the Ontario Human Rights Commission are pleased to announce a partnership initiative to enhance diversity within the CH workforce, strengthening CH's mission to serve people living with developmental disabilities. As part of the initiative, CH will be welcoming applications for future vacancies in support worker and program manager positions from all persons regardless of creed.
Christian Horizons is committed to serving people living with developmental disabilities with respect and dignity, recognizing and supporting their talents, gifts and diversity. It works to encourage open and accepting communities by modeling healthy and positive relationships. The Commission and Christian Horizons recognize the importance of Christian Horizons' foundation as a faith-based organization. At the same time, the Commission and Christian Horizons believe that employing support workers and program managers who hold a variety of views on matters of faith will strengthen its capacity to support people from diverse communities.
The Commission and CH look forward to collaboration as Christian Horizons continues evaluation of its employment policies, procedures and job requirements to ensure best practices in accordance with the values and principles set out in the
